This space will serve as a platform to share my experiences with anyone and everyone who wants to tune in over the next year. Hopefully this site will educate, entertain and/or inspire others.

I'm far from a good writer. I'm hardly a travel journalist or website developer. I'm just a normal guy who wants to walk a path less traveled and see the world in a different light. I promise to keep the touristy bullshit to a minimum. I plan on posting stuff that I think is either cool, interesting, helpful or funny about trying to fit into a new culture. But most importantly this is a social experiment that tests the human spirit. I will talk about the people I meet, relationships I develop and the community that is Buenos Aires, Argentina. This site will go deeper than your average travel blog and hopefully at the end of it all I will see if you can really go from tourist to townie within a year. 

I have some marketing experience, some travel experience and I took Piano lessons for 4 years when I was in grade school. I also took some spanish in high school and college but I got more D's then Cheetah's. I don't know how any of this will help me on this trip but it can't hurt, right? 

So, with all that said... let's see what happens...
