Why BA? Omens Baby!

Everyone always asks me; "so how did you settle on Buenos Aires?" And my semi-serious response is always... "Omens!" Seriously though, since I started thinking about the trip I've seen signs everywhere that seemed to point me to Argentina and Buenos Aires (BA). As weird as it may be, almost everyday since mid-July I've seen some small random sign that I take as reconfirming my idea. So finally, I just decided to go with it.

The first thing that sparked my interest in BA was a random article about 3 months ago (before the trip was even a thought) that ranked BA as one of the best big cities to live. The very next day my neighbor and I got into a conversation about traveling and she told me she taught English there for a about a year and loved it. Maybe I've been searching for these 'omens' since then but it's fun to think about.

Here's a good example: I am not a big tennis fan but I was watching the U.S. Open yesterday with the fam and who happens to win it all? A young gun from Argentina... wild huh!

SIDE NOTE: I didn't find any omens in Serena's outburst!
